September at Myrtle Beach: Cooler Crowds, Crisp Skies

Myrtle Beach's summer crowds have dissipated by late September, leaving behind a more relaxed atmosphere on its 60 miles of coastline. The mercury has dropped significantly from August highs, with average high temperatures in the mid-70s to low 80s Fahrenheit (23-27°C). While some oceanfront towers remain open year-round, their beach umbrellas and lounge chairs are now folded up for the season.
