Delaware's Atlantic beach towns balance boardwalks and quiet shores
September brings a welcome respite from Rehoboth and Bethany's peak summer crowds, but don't expect an empty beach. The weather remains warm, with average highs in the mid-70s, making it an ideal time to soak up some sun without the sweltering heat of July and August. In Bethany, the atmosphere remains more laid-back, with plenty of space for families to spread out on the sand.
